I am an ardent fan of the program more because for the love of music than for anything else. The program has been going well....however....in recent weeks there has been widespread rumour that the whole program is a huge "HOAX" in terms of SMS voting. The rumour is gaining ground and there are already emails scurrying around highlighting the winner. If this is true, then I suppose not only would this leave in bad tase and example, a wonderful concept, but invite Public Interest Litigation from people like me who will not accept being taken for a ride. I think the rumour is so sound now that ASIANET, CONFIDENT GROUP, JUDGES, ANCHORS, and the PARTICIPANTS owe the public viewers an announcement of sorts emphasizing the program's authenticity. If not done at the earliest, not only would you loose viewers, but your will have to beware of legal action too!!!!
Every one in your list will vouch that it's very authentic. That's their 'vayattipizhappu'.
The fact that Sannidhanan is still there proves that it's all controlled by some other business sense than pure music or talent. With all due respect to him, every one knows that he's a below average singer. He's only good at tamil 'dappankoothu' and devotionals but again it's not outstanding in any standards.
He's already a brand ambassador for BestFM. So we know before hand that he's going to be there for a long time. We shouldn't be surprised if he wins the flat! Asianet probably would have a deal with him already.
I wouldn't waste my time watching this stupid caricature of American Idol had not it been for extreme talents like Najeem. His ghazal and 'Kaattile Paazhmulam' were the best live perfomances I have seen in my life. THAT is what I call talent.
Now its telecasting only for making money for ASIANET thruogh SMS...

I am not a fan of any body. I believe the really talented should be the real winner. There is a rumor even very early (which has already appeared in all printed media) that Najim is the winner. If it is so, the programme was a befooling show.

Come on, accept the fact! Najeem is definitely better than Amrutha or Durga. It's for every one to see. And listen. Did you listen to his Ghazal? He is professional stuff.
Amrutha is very good. So was Vani but her semi final rounds were a disaster. Poor girl. Durga has trouble on stage but she will do very well under the director. We might see more of her in the future.
Meanwhile, Najeem deserves to win this competition. He's just better than the other competitors and atleast two of the Judges. It's there for every one to see.

Tushar is the best..My God... he sang the song "vricshaga poo nilave" from the movie ..some.. marumagan chandu.. Its was really melting me.. but i dontknow why the judges said that he needs to be more expressive. I wish he should win...

SMS should not be counted for evaluating the performance of a singer.It is stupid and not logical
